It’s time to celebrate our newest Partner Spotlight Award winner! Each quarter we run the numbers to see who our top performing partners are. This quarter was a close call to see who would pull ahead of the rest. Each winner is selected by the level of engagement, year over year revenue growth and breadth of products sold. We update the numbers quarterly to give all our partners a chance to improve and rise in the rankings.

After reviewing the dashboard, this quarter’s Partner Spotlight Award winner is CompuCom! Based out of Fort Mill, South Carolina, Compucom boasts over 30 years of experience and a diverse portfolio of products. In 2018 it was named as one of 2018’s Top 50 Best Workplaces. It is also part of the Office Depot family of brands. With over 11,000 associates and 100,00+ certifications, CompuCom is a high-achieving company that we are lucky to partner with.

Bill Birdwell, CompuCom’s Partner Alliance Manager, has worked with C2G for over a decade. Birdwell shared that CompuCom’s main business verticals are Retail, Finance and an “other” bucket for the rest of their US customers. To support these verticals, CompuCom purchases audio/video, copper patch, fiber, PC, and power cables .

Regarding his relationship with his C2G Account Executive, Bill Henry, Birdwell had nothing but great things to say. “[We have a] great relationship and support from Bill Henry. Bill always works with us and returns calls and emails promptly. I wish all my OEM reps were as informative and professional as Bill Henry.

From Birdwell’s perspective, C2G seems to be doing everything right. “[C2G is] always willing to help with special pricing, [and] customer support is excellent.

Working with Bill Birdwell and the entire team of sales representatives at CompuCom has been a very exciting experience for me. I enjoy the high volume of requests that I receive each day. I interact with various CompuCom sales teams and purchasing teams, not only here in the United States, but as well as with the various teams located in Mexico,” said Henry.

Henry continued, “My favorite thing about my relationship with CompuCom is their complete understanding of how important cables and connectivity are to the total picture of an IT solution. You can purchase expensive hardware but if you do not have the correct cabling and connectivity solution, you will not get the full benefits out of each device. Working with CompuCom is even more exciting now that they have been acquired by Office Depot for whom I am the dedicated account executive as well. It is extremely rewarding knowing that I am personally helping CompuCom to make a difference in the day-to-day operations of Information Technology. Now with C2G, A Brand of Legrand’s solution offering of third party transceivers, Wiremold raceway, racks, cabinets, panels, cable management and enclosures, I am able to provide CompuCom with an even stronger solution set of complete offerings to help increase their sales revenue streams in 2018 and beyond!
