CRN Women of the Channel Recognizes Two C2G Leaders

CRN, the source for IT channel news and insights, recently announced its 2017 Women of the Channel Award winners. CRN’s Women of the Channel awards are given to individuals whose channel expertise and vision are deserving of recognition and two of C2G’s own are 2017 award recipients! We’re proud to congratulate V.P. of Sales, Domestic IT, Nancy Czlonka and IT Channel Marketing Manager, Lauren Carson on this accomplishment!

For Nancy, this is her third year receiving this award and her second year as a part of the C2G, A brand of Legrand family. Nancy shared that she feels, “very fortunate to be working in this business and I feel honored to be recognized along with my peers. When I first started in this industry, the leaders were predominantly men, it is so good to see more and more women advance.”

Nancy joined C2G, a brand of Legrand, in November of 2015 and when asked about what drew her to this organization she stated, “the corporate culture is by far the most important reason why I came to Legrand. They care about their people; they invest in their careers and they give them the latitude to make decisions. Their corporate culture extends into the partner community. They value their partners, invest in their programs and initiatives and want to make sure they are profitable selling our solutions.”

Lauren is a first-time award winner and reflected on what this recognition means to her, “I am honored to share this recognition with a few women whom I really admire at Legrand. I have been humbled by the numerous people who have personally reached out, and have truly felt the impact of the tight knit community that is the IT channel.”

Having been with C2G, a brand of Legrand, for seven years (then Cables to Go, a brand of Lastar) Lauren shared that the people are what keep her coming back for more. “The people – that is why I stay with Legrand. We are a multi-billion-dollar organization that has the same culture as a small company, I work with like-minded individuals who share the same passion for their work. From top to bottom, you will find people who are passionate and open. I have heard our President, Mark Panico, say that he is available to take your call anytime, and have first-hand witnessed this commitment. The people at Legrand are absolutely the reason I have stayed for 7 years.”

I asked both Nancy and Lauren what sets C2G, A brand of Legrand, apart in the channel and they both had the same response – service. Lauren expanded on this, “Legrand is more committed to service and product excellence than anyone else who plays in our space. I think the service piece speaks to our people, and the product excellence is a core value we had as C2G, and aligns well with Legrand. Legrand has barely broached the tip of the iceberg in terms of what is to come for the IT channel, and I am really excited to be a part of expanding our brand.”

Nancy shared the first-hand feedback she receives in the channel, “As a V.P. of Sales the best part of my job is visiting our partners. Everywhere I go I hear about how superior our service is. We are known for our responsiveness and doing so with accuracy, enthusiasm and heart. Of course, we have quality products, in today’s environment you would not survive without that.”

We are proud to celebrate along with Nancy and Lauren in their achievement and expect only great things to continue for each of them. For more, you can check out their CRN 2017 Women of the Channel Award Winner profiles here:
