Golf Scramble is a Hole in 1 for C2G & Epilepsy Foundation!
For nearly 41 years the Epilepsy Foundation of Western Ohio has been striving to not only meet the needs of those with Epilepsy but to find a cure. This year C2G is proud to be a partner with this non-profit organization. Our goal for the 2015 calendar year was to better educate our community about Epilepsy while having a great time fundraising for a cure.
This past week C2G hosted a golf scramble for local businesses, family and friends. Despite the chilly weather the event was a success and raised nearly $1000. A total of 5 teams braved the conditions to compete for the winning title. Local businesses donated raffle prizes such as wireless speaker systems, golf apparel and gym bags. The event came to a close over a dinner and awards ceremony.
Year to date C2G has raised over $2000 for the Foundation through events such as the golf scramble, a 5K Run and a volleyball tournament. There is one final event planned for November 11th at a local art studio. Participants will have the opportunity to sample a variety of wine and beer while recreating a painting under an instructor’s guidance.
